Welcome to the Concordia Vision Lab Website
The researchers in the lab work on a number of different projects, with the common theme being to better understand how vision and visual perception functions in humans.
Our research ranges from studying the low-level neural mechanisms used by the visual system to encode our environment, to applied research in the areas of marketing, aviation, and vision rehabilitation for those individuals with low vision.
To address these wide-ranging research areas, we use knowledge both academia and industry, with techniques that include eye tracking, EEG, heart-rate measures, computational modeling, and psychophysics in both lab and real-world environments. For more details on these projects, click on the project menu.
Our research is funded and conducted in collaboration with our partners below.
